We are ready to help in the Community Garden. Lesley Ottey helped us understand how to make compost and how it helps in the garden to make vegetables and fruit grow. We helped fork the compost into the bin beside it. In the compost there was a skink which is a sign of healthy compost. We are looking forward to Lesley Ottey coming again to help us learn about the 'R' - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repair. This will help us understand the 'Impact' we can make on our environment. Some of us are helping to pick up leaves from around our studios. Our school has beautiful deciduous trees so Autumn is a time of change as the leaves fall.
